This piece captures the gestural expression of a body in motion, exploring the beauty of the female form through shape, movement, and color. I draw the female figure from the inside out, incorporating reclining poses and mark-making techniques to emphasize fluidity and emotion. Using line, shape, and form, I convey emotions, states of mind, or fleeting moments. Each work tells a story—complete with a beginning, middle, and end—by weaving together personal experiences and elements from historical paintings that resonate with the present and inform our future. It is this emotional resonance that drives my creative process.
