James Razko

Employing several interwoven bodies of work, Razko, a combat veteran, twists genres of two-dimensional art-making in a visual, non-horrific exploration of the human experience of war, trauma, and memory. Informed by pop culture, history, and personal experience, Razko's paintings promote peace while challenging expectations, socio-political narratives, biases, belief systems, and tropes.
