Acrylic, ink and collage on Arches watercolor paper mounted on cradled-wood panel. Matte UV varnished to protect the collage elements from light. In this series, scraps of salvaged, vintage wallpapers and a retrospective of black and white images, documents and other ephemera tell a story as they are layered and adhered onto paper. The torn papers suggest blocks of crumbling monuments, architecture, or abstracted landscapes. Birds are the protagonists of the works as they forage what is left behind by mankind. Ships wired and ready to hang unframed, with my framing suggestions included in the package. Framing is not required but is recommended.
