This composition was first inspired, when I found a piece of beautiful vintage handwoven pink silk at an antique market in Florence. I wanted to compose an oriental inspired composition, using pink and blue as the dominant notes in the composition. The subtle cream yellows from the dried flowers helped balance out the other stronger colors.
