Timothy Wilson is an American painter whose work captures the dramatic aspects of the Maine landscape, expressing his deep connection to the state's natural beauty. Born and raised in rural southern Maine, Wilson developed an early appreciation for the state's stark strength and beauty.

He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008. After a period in New York, he returned to Maine, where he currently maintains his studio. Wilson's paintings have been exhibited in galleries across the United States, including solo exhibitions at Sloane Merrill Gallery in Boston and Steven Amedee Gallery in New York. His work has been featured in publications such as National Geographic and is held in private collections internationally.
